Our History
Evergive was founded by Ismael Dainehine. He has been building charitable giving products for nearly a decade. The One Pound Challenge, MyTenNights, MyFridays, MyTenDays, GiveMatch and DailyGiving - each one a different angle on the same problem: how do you make people give more, more often and with greater meaning? Some cracked it. Some didn't. But across all of them, a single number tells the story: together, these products have raised over $200 million for charities around the world.
But raising money is only half the equation. Donors give, charities receive and then everyone starts again from zero. The treadmill keeps turning. After channelling over $200 million to good causes, you might expect a moment of satisfaction or a sense that enough had been done. It never came. Because what a decade of building these products revealed, more clearly than anything else, is that the charitable sector is not broken for lack of generosity. The human spirit endures. People give, and they give again. But the mechanics that surround that generosity - the way money moves, the way impact is measured, the way charities are forced to fundraise perpetually just to stand still - those are broken. The problem was never motivation. It was infrastructure.
Evergive was built to change that. Not just to move money from donor to charity, but to make that money work harder, last longer and compound impact over time rather than resetting it. For donors, it means your generosity doesn't stop the moment you give. For charities, it means a funding model that grows rather than one that has to be constantly replenished.
This is the next step in the evolution of giving.
