One small addition to your checkout,

Integrate the Evergive Plugin
Charities add the Evergive plugin alongside their existing donation flow. It introduces an optional step at checkout that lets donors support a long-term reserve—without changing how donations are processed or received. Evergive never handles or holds funds.
Donors top up their donations
Donors give exactly as they do today. At checkout, they can optionally add an additional amount to support the charity’s long-term reserve. The main donation continues to fund immediate work, while the top-up is earmarked for the future.
Additional donations generate a 12.5% annual payout
When a donor opts in, Evergive records that intent. Evergive’s DAF partner invests the additional reserve contributions on the charity’s behalf and pays out 12.5% annually to the charity. Evergive never handles funds, and operational donations are not invested.
Watch your reserve grow over time
As more donors contribute, the reserve grows and compounds over time. It remains separate from operating funds and is designed to strengthen long-term financial stability, resilience, and confidence in future planning.
