Getting Started
Evergive helps charities increase the long-term value of every donation.
Our SDK allows charities to integrate Evergive into their existing donation experience, enabling supporters to contribute additional funds intended to support the charity’s long-term reserve. These additional contributions are invested in Bitcoin on the charity’s behalf by Evergive’s donor-advised fund (DAF) partner, with the goal of building sustainable, long-term financial support. For more information about why we pursue Bitcoin as a growth vehicle, please read our Whitepaper here.
For donors, this happens seamlessly at the point of giving. For charities, Evergive operates as an extension of their existing donation infrastructure - there’s no need to replace current payment providers or change how donations are collected.
Importantly, Evergive never receives or holds donor funds. All donations, including any portion allocated through Evergive, are paid directly into the charity’s existing bank account. The SDK’s role is to record how much of each donation a supporter has chosen to direct toward the charity’s long-term reserve.
Based on this information, Evergive’s DAF partner invoices the charity for the corresponding amount. Once transferred, the DAF becomes the custodian of those funds and any resulting assets. The Bitcoin purchased by the DAF is held specifically for the benefit of the charity, even though the charity does not directly custody the assets itself.
This structure ensures that charities retain full control over incoming donations, Evergive never touches or holds funds, the DAF serves as the ultimate custodian of invested assets and the resulting reserve is clearly attributed to the charity’s long-term benefit.

Correct Usage
When integrating Evergive’s SDK, you are required to include Evergive’s solicitation statement within the user experience in order to comply with our Terms & Conditions and copyright requirements. This statement ensures donors are properly informed about how their contributions are processed and helps maintain the integrity of the Evergive platform. Failure to include the required solicitation statement may result in the suspension or termination of access to Evergive’s services.
To make this easy, we recommend including the following statement in your user interface when using the SDK:
[Insert Solicitation Statement Here]
At present, the solicitation statement must be added manually as part of your integration. In the future, Evergive will provide libraries and tooling to make including this statement simpler and more seamless.
Marketing Assets
Evergive provides a set of approved marketing and attribution assets to support charities in referencing Evergive across external communications, including websites, social media, campaigns and public announcements.
These assets are designed to help charities communicate their use of Evergive clearly and consistently, while ensuring correct attribution and alignment with Evergive’s brand and usage requirements. Using the provided assets reduces the risk of misrepresentation and helps maintain clarity for donors and the wider public.
The Marketing Assets section includes logos, attribution lockups such as “Powered by Evergive,” approved copy and example usage across common external channels. Charities are encouraged to use these assets as provided when referencing Evergive in public-facing materials.
